The excitement surrounding Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited Ramayana reached a new high after a purported trailer from the film surfaced online shortly after its grand Pratham Sankalp launch event in Delhi. Despite the makers taking strict precautions to prevent leaks, clips claiming to feature footage from the trailer quickly began circulating across social media, leaving fans both thrilled and curious.
Ramayana trailer gets leaked
The launch event, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, was attended by the film’s principal cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol, along with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra. During the event, the makers unveiled the trailer exclusively for those present. However, viewers watching the official livestream noticed that the broadcast was paused every time the trailer was played inside the venue, indicating the team’s efforts to keep the footage under wraps until its official digital release.

Those measures, however, did not completely prevent spoilers. Within hours of the event, several videos surfaced online claiming to show scenes from the trailer. The leaked clips spread rapidly across platforms, with fans sharing screenshots and discussing the visuals. While the authenticity of every circulating video has not been independently verified, the footage has generated significant buzz ahead of the trailer’s official worldwide release.
The makers have announced that the Ramayana trailer will make its global digital debut on July 24, following special presentations, including a showcase at San Diego Comic-Con. The film has already attracted international attention for its scale, ambitious visual effects and star-studded cast.
