Sonakshi Sinha once again called out intrusive paparazzi after attending Akansha Ranjan and Sharan Sharma’s wedding reception in Mumbai. As photographers continued following her to her car, the actor firmly asked them to stop. This is the second time she has expressed her discomfort with their behaviour.
Sonakshi Sinha slams paps again
In the viral video, paparazzi continued following Sonakshi to her car as she left the venue. Irritated by this, the actress said, “Bas guys, abhi gaadi ke andar nahi hai. Ho gaya. Thank you. Bye. Good night. (Enough, guys. Now don’t come up to the car. That’s enough. Thank you. Bye. Good night.)” She further added, “Jab tak aap nahi jaoge, main nahi baithungi. (I will not sit in the car until you all leave.)”

This comes a week after she schooled them for constantly filming her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam, after a dinner outing. Zaheer Iqbal tried to control the situation and asked the paparazzi to stop filming. When they continued shooting, Sonakshi said, “Bas, guys. Thank you. Good night!”
In 2025, Sonakshi spoke about paparazzi culture in an exclusive interview with Zoom. The actress said, “Look at what social media has become. Look at what the pap culture has become. You can’t even go to a funeral without being clicked. I found it very bizarre.”
When Neha Dhupia slammed paps
In recent times, several celebrities have called out the way paparazzi hound and film them. Actor Neha Dhupia strongly criticised paparazzi at an event in Mumbai recently over what she described as inappropriate “back shots.” Neha said, “Yeh badtameezi se backshot kaun leta hai tumlog me se? Kaun leta hai? Band karo (Who among you is taking these back shots so disrespectfully? Who is doing it? Stop it).”
She added, “Do not do it to me. Do not do it to anyone. We are tired of saying this over and over. Picking up bags and books, walking backwards—none of that will work anymore. Put a stop to all this. We speak to you all with great respect. Do not do this.”
