'Tiger Shroff's firing incident is an eye-opener', says Neil Nitin Mukesh

The firing incident involving Tiger Shroff has sent shockwaves through the country. While the actor escaped unharmed, the incident has sparked serious concerns about the security of Bollywood. Reacting to the incident, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh expressed fear and disbelief, saying that he knows Tiger and his family personally and considers him a good person. Neil also shares a longstanding bond with Jackie Shroff, whom he affectionately calls Jaggu Da. Their family have known each other for generations, and Neil has worked with Jackie in two films.

In an exclusive conversation with Mid-Day, Neil said, “It’s very sad. He is such a nice boy. I know his family so well. Jaggu da is like a father figure to us. We have known each other for generations. He knows my father and my grandfather. I had the opportunity to work with him and have done two films with Jaggu da. I know Tiger, too. He is such a nice, well-brought-up boy. Why? Why would this happen?”
‘The attack is an eye-opener’
The Johnny Gaddaar actor also used this incident as a reminder, suggesting people, particularly those in the public eye, remain mindful of their behaviour rather than drawing unnecessary attention to themselves. He added, “It’s scary, and at the same time, it’s an eye-opener. It reminds us to be humble, grounded and a little quiet at times.”

The actor admitted that such incidents can make actors feel anxious about their safety and uncertain about how to handle public interaction. “Episodes like this bring a bit of fear and insecurity to everyone. Because if actors are rushing out and don’t want to interact, they are judged for that, too. So, it’s a two-way street,” Neil concluded.
