Shilpa Rao shares note after Mumbai show
Taking to Instagram after the event, Shilpa shared how the incident had affected her. She thanked the audience for standing by her even after the music was stopped, admitting the experience had left her heartbroken.
“Mumbai, a little piece of my heart broke tonight. It hurts deeply to have something so beautiful taken away from us like this. But even when the music stopped, you did not. The way you kept calling my name, the love in your voices. I could feel it all. Our story tonight was left unfinished. I promise, I will come back. I love you, Mumbai. Forever and ever. Shilpa”

The organisers further explained that, “Because their festivals operate under strict local authority guidelines and venue curfew regulations, these unfortunate delays forced a premature end to her set.”
They concluded by extending their sincere apologies to Shilpa, her team and her fans, who continued to show their support for the singer. They also thanked the audience for their understanding as they navigate the operational challenges of live festival production.
The music project, backed by Deepak Choudhary, featured several singers who entertained the audience.
