The first look was unveiled at the event and later shared on social media. Sharing the look, Sanjay wrote, “Kuch kahaani khatam nahi hoti… woh dobara shuru hoti hai. Khalnayak Returns.” The 1:12-minute video shows a dark, fiery backdrop, with Sanjay returning as Ballu, Bollywood’s most iconic screen villain, walking with a chain in his hand, as several bodies lie scattered around him.
In an iconic moment in the video, he lights his cigarette using his fingers through the flames, followed by a powerful dialogue, “Bola tha na… 10 October, raat ke 10 baje, Ballu jail se fhurr…” before casually singing “Nayak nahi, Khalnayak hoon main.” He then walks off in his signature style.

But yes, a sequel to Khal Nayak is being planned,” he said.
He further added, “I’m not directing it as I’m 80 years old. I can guide them creatively. Sanjay Dutt will act in the sequel. We have a lot of IPs, and many studios are approaching us for remakes and sequels. We decided to give the IP rights for this one.”
More details about the film`s star cast and release date are awaited.
