Actor and host Maniesh Paul’s mother, Urmil Paul, died on July 8, 2026. His mother breathed her last at the age of 77 years in Delhi. The actor’s team confirmed the news via an official statement. Meanwhile, the actor is yet to share a statement on the same.
Maniesh Paul’s mother dies
Maniesh’s team issued a statement that read, “With great grief, we regret to inform you that actor Maniesh Paul lost his 77-year-old mother today in Delhi.” They further urged fans to pray for her soul, saying, “We request you to please pray for the departed soul. May she rest in eternal peace.”
Maniesh was known to be deeply attached to his mother, as he regularly posted heartfelt social media posts on her birthdays and Mother’s Day. He has also often credited her for shaping his life and personality.

Hours after the news broke out, Maniesh took to his Instagram to share an emotional post grieving his mother’s demise. He wrote, “Today, the world feels quieter. This morning, I said goodbye to my mother—my first home, my greatest comfort, and the strongest woman I’ve ever known. No words can truly capture what you’ve meant to me or the emptiness you’ve left behind. But I carry your love, your strength, your kindness, and every lesson you gave me. They will stay with me for the rest of my life.”

Back in 2025, Maniesh reflected on his childhood in a sweet Mother’s Day post for his mother. He called her his very first makeup artist, who dressed him up and gave him the confidence to become the successful host and actor he is. He wrote in the Instagram post, “To my first ever makeup artist who dressed me for all my school competitions and made sure I win! To the first person who gave me the confidence to be what I am today MY MOTHER! paulurmil Happy Mother’s Day mummy! Love you to the moon and back. Similarly, back in 2024, Maniesh specially flew to Delhi to celebrate his mother’s birthdya amid his busy schedules. He had shared stories on Instagram of his journey.
