Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan forayed into Bollywood with The Archies. She has always maintained a private profile and stayed away from the spotlight. She also confessed to crying alone in her room after facing disappointment.
Suhana Khan on SRK and Gauri’s guidance
In a recent interview with Harper`s Bazaar India, the actor opened up about how, despite stepping into the industry on her own terms, she still turns to her parents for guidance. “I have to ask my parents. They get the final say.” While SRK offers layered, philosophical advice, Gauri Khan is more direct and practical. “Between the two, I find balance,” she said, explaining how their contrasting perspectives help her stay grounded.
Suhana on rejection
Growing up, Suhana admitted she wasn`t initially interested in acting. However, an audition changed her perception. During her boarding school days at Ardingly College in the UK, she auditioned for a play, hoping to secure a main role, but was instead assigned to the chorus.

Suhana said, “I was so upset and disappointed. And I think that’s when I knew that I really wanted to play those parts and enjoy the thrill of being on stage.” She also confessed to crying alone in her room, caught off guard by the depth of her own disappointment. Now, she says her work is fueled by “curiosity, purpose, but most of all, passion. It’s all of it.”
After her time in the UK, she pursued formal training at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She completed her early schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai.
