On Monday, singer Adnan Sami organised an intimate musical evening to commemorate his wife Roya’s birthday. Actors Rohit Roy and Zayed Khan, along with singers Shaan and Javed Ali, were among those who attended. A clip from the celebration has since gone viral, giving fans a glimpse of Zayed’s latest hair look. His appearance quickly grabbed attention on social media, with several fans comparing his new avatar to Harry Potter’s Professor Snape.
In the video, Adnan Sami, Javed Ali, Irrfan Pathan and others were seen jamming on Maine Poocha Chaand Se, with Zayed Khan appearing completely different while vibing hard to the song. The actor stunned in a black ensemble and sported long hair with tinted shades, reminding fans of his iconic Main Hoon Na look. However, it was his long, straight hair and high-collared black outfit that prompted fans to draw comparisons with Professor Snape from Harry Potter.

As soon as the video went viral, fans started to drop their reactions. One wrote, “He should be cast as Snape if we ever have an Indian version of Harry Potter.” Another comment read, “If that’s his real hair, wow, just wow.” One commented, “I legit thought it was Professor Snape.”
About Zayed Khan
Zayed Khan became a popular name in Bollywood in the early 2000s, marking his acting debut with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne in 2003. While the film marked his first on-screen appearance, it was his next major character as Laxman Sharma, fondly known as Lucky, in Main Hoon Na that made him an overnight star. Released in 2024, the Farah Khan directorial starring Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen and Amrita Rao alongside Zayed became one of the biggest hits of that period.
The actor went on to star in films such as Dus, Fight Club – Members Only, Yuvvraaj and Blue. However, despite featuring in several projects, he did not achieve the same level of stardom that Main Hoon Na brought him. He was last seen in the 2015 release Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene. After that, Zayed largely stayed away from Bollywood and did not star in any major acting project.
Later, in 2023, Zayed announced that he was preparing to return to the Hindi film industry. The actor celebrated his 20th year in the film industry with a special social media post, announcing that he had a new film ahead. While sharing a picture on Instagram, he wrote, “Hello, people! With your love & support, it’s been 20 YEARS for me in the industry. As then, once again I’m excited to tell you guys that my new movie is just around the corner and I can’t wait to share it with you!!!! Now, the next 20 years are gonna be kickass!!!!”
