After Madgaon Express, Kunal Kemmu is set for his second outing as a director with Vibe. The comic caper’s teaser promised plenty of fun, and it looks like the makers have another surprise in store. According to a report, veteran actor Sharmila Tagore will make a special cameo in the film, marking her first project with son-in-law Kemmu.

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Sharmila Tagore will have a special appearance in Vibe. To note, this will mark her first project with son-in-law Kunal Kemmu. The source told the portal, “A special detail that viewers can look forward to is the appearance of Sharmila Tagore, who will reportedly make a cameo in the film. The appearance is particularly notable as Sharmila is Kunal Kemmu’s mother-in-law. Her cameo in Vibe will mark her first Hindi film appearance in three years, following her performance in Rahul V Chittella’s family drama Gulmohar, which premiered directly on JioHotstar. Sharmila was last seen in Suman Ghosh’s Bengali psychological film Puratawn.”

Talking about Sharmila Tagore, she was recently in the news for her views on the Vande Mataram row. While Sharmila suggested singing only the first two stanzas to respect India’s diverse religious beliefs, Kangana Ranaut defended the song’s artistic and symbolic meaning, urging people to look beyond a Hindu-Muslim mindset. Kangana slammed her and wrote, “Even if you believe in one God, doctors also call power shakti. Let’s embrace each other like our own. I absolutely love you and don’t mind a crushing hug like you always give me.”
