The Rowdy Rathore actor was travelling on the Gujarat Mail when he realised that his wallet containing important documents and cash—had been left behind. Acting quickly, he filed a complaint through the Rail Madad helpline, a platform designed to assist passengers with grievances and lost belongings.
Sharing his experience in a video, Jariwala said, “Today… while travelling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, I forgot my wallet in the train,” explaining how the situation unfolded early in the morning. He added that the railway authorities responded promptly after his complaint was registered.
Within minutes, he received a call from an official confirming that his wallet had been located. Recalling the moment, he said, “Within a few minutes, I got a call… he told me that he has found my wallet, which had very valuable documents and cash.”
The actor was full of praise for the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the efficiency of the system. He highlighted how quickly the issue was resolved and urged people to recognise the efforts of railway authorities. “It is very important for us to understand that our Railway Protection Police is very efficient and effective. I would like to once again thank…” he said, expressing gratitude to the officer who assisted him.
Lauds RPF for recovering it promptly
The RPF Ahmedabad team reportedly acted immediately after receiving the complaint via the 139 helpline, successfully tracing and securing the wallet before returning it to the actor. The quick turnaround impressed many, showcasing the effectiveness of the railway’s support system for passengers.
However, the incident also sparked mixed reactions online. While many users appreciated the swift action taken by the authorities, others questioned whether such efficiency would be extended to ordinary passengers in similar situations. Some also shared their own experiences with railway services, pointing out areas where improvements are still needed.
Despite the differing opinions, Jariwala’s experience highlights the importance of timely reporting and the role of digital grievance platforms in resolving issues efficiently. His public acknowledgment has also drawn attention to the often-overlooked efforts of railway personnel.
What began as a moment of panic during a routine journey ultimately turned into a positive experience, thanks to quick coordination and response. The incident serves as a reminder for travellers to stay cautious with their belongings while also reassuring them that help is readily available when needed.
