AI Gemini’s bizarre blunder as user’s head left ‘floating’ in white space

A simple request turned into a sidesplitting blunder when Google’s AI Gemini took a user’s photo edit request a bit too literally. Aditya Dubey’s ask to “make the background white” resulted in his head being neatly severed and floating in a sea of white, leaving social media users in stitches.

The original passport-style photo on the left, and the AI’s output on the right, is a masterclass in misinterpretation.

Dubey’s caption, “Very good @GeminiApp,” perfectly sums up the amusement and disbelief.

Some users praised it as peak Internet humour, while others poked fun at AI’s limitations.

“It gave you a haircut instead, awesome!” joked one user.

Google Gemini responded, “We understand your issue, Aditya. Please try rephrasing your prompt with more specific instructions.”
