Now, the latest reports suggest that the superstar has roped in Rajpal Yadav for the film.
Salman Khan ropes in Rajpal Yadav for his next?
The reports come after Salman Khan posted on X in support of Rajpal Yadav after he was allegedly humiliated at an awards show. At the event, hosted by senior journalist Saurabh Dwivedi and comedian Zakir Khan, the former took a dig at the character actor’s financial situation and recent jail time. Salman Khan came out in his support and highlighted Yadav’s contribution to the film industry.
Now, a report in Bollywood Hungama claims that Khan has signed Yadav for his upcoming film with Dil Raju. A source told the portal, “Salman Khan has cast Rajpal Yadav to play a key role in this action-packed entertainer. Rajpal will be playing Salman Khan’s right hand in the film and will share a strong dynamic bond throughout the story. It’s one of the most important characters, and the casting has happened on merit. Salman is very fond of Rajpal and feels that he fits the bill to the T for his particular part.”
Rajpal Yadav and Salman Khan have previously worked together in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Partner. Yadav is expected to start shooting for the film in May and will be seen in a role that highlights his comic timing.
